360 Supermoon

So I’m a little late with this post, but on March 19, we were able to witness a supermoon, the closest the moon’s orbit has taken it to the earth since 1993. At sunset, the moon appeared 15 – 20% bigger than usual and was a beautiful scarlet colour. I was fortunate enough to be dining at the CN Tower 360 with a few friends and got to see the supermoon above the Toronto skyline from an amazing height.

Unfortunately I’m not an amazing photographer… here is the moon, at sunset, a blood moon

And here is the moon later in the even, no longer red, but still large and gorgeous.
